Horse Riding
After breakfast , served in the deck or in the border of Rio Preto , the option is spend a day riding a horse to know the trails
and waterfalls . Wich 2 hours you can visit the Santa Clara , the swimming pool of Maromba , the Escorrega ( Slippery ) Falls
and the trouts farm .
For who prefer radical sports , the climb of Brejos ( Swamp ) is a good option for all day . Cross the "Toca da Raposa" and
half way of the trail has a confortable shadow . When turn the top of the montain , about 1.700 meters high , the view is
spetacular . You can see the range of sez and peak of "Agulhas Negras" . Is a time to rest the horses and oportunity to
taste a good wine wich cheese from Minas Gerais .
After 1 hour of downhill you can find the "Rancho dos Brejos" . Is open all year to be used by travellers . You must only let it clean
and , if possible , give some food or drink for the next horse riders . There´s a small river to you and horses take a good shower
and a pleasurable grass to lay down .
The turn back is easy . The horses are empty and your only job is enjoy the landscape .
